English Handbells & Handchimes

The Pohick Handbells rings with handbells or handchimes for festive occasions at the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist and Holy Days. During 2026-2027  the schedule includes: Reformation Sunday, St. Andrew's Day, Advent Lessons & Carols, Christmas Eve, Christmas Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols, Easter Day, Trinity Sunday and at Sounds of Pohick. The sacred repertory is a combination of 3-octave pieces for 8 ringers and selections for 4-5 ringers.

Rehearsals: Thursdays, the ensemble rehearses from 6:15– 7:15 p.m. in the Music Room with a final rehearsal in the Church - Labor Day to Trinity Sunday.
