Easter Day Prelude to the 11:15 a.m. Choral Holy Eucharist: Rite One

Concerto for organ in F-Major, Op. 4, No. 4 - George Frideric Handel, 1685-1759

Allegro - Andante - Adagio - Allegro

Handel invented the form of 'Organ Concerto" with about 16 Organ Concertos serving as interludes at Covent Garden during his Oratorios. This concerto orginally had an "Alleluia Chorus" which is included in the final movement fugue. The 1737 first publication by John Walsh of the Opus 4 Concerti was as an organ solo.
