The Pohick Chapter of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew invites all the men and youth of Pohick to attend any of our Saturday 8:00 am meetings. We celebrated our 40th Anniversary in January 2024. We are the largest chapter in the country and among the most active. The Brotherhood of St. Andrew is a men’s group in the Episcopal church whose focus is to minister to the men of the church and bring others nearer to Christ, especially men and youth. Our Pohick chapter meets Saturday mornings at 8:00 am, for fellowship, breakfast, discussion of issues we are working on to support Pohick, and about 20 to 30 minutes of bible study.

The Pohick chapter of the Brotherhood of Saint Andrew wishes to thank the congregation for the support they have shown us during this past year. The congregation’s support has assisted us in having a very successful year towards spreading Christ’s Kingdom, especially among men and youth. With the income generated from the four big fund-raising events that we sponsor every year, which include the Washington’s birthday breakfast and service, the Saint Patrick’s Day Dinner, the annual Crab Feast, and the food concessions for the Pohick Fair, we have funded the construction of an Episcopal Church in the village of Donkoto in Ghana, Africa, made a significant contribution to the Episcopal Relief Fund for the church’s Hurricane Relief efforts in those states affected by Hurricane , sponsored the creation of a new scout troop, sponsored several of the after-service Coffee hours on Sunday mornings, and made our usual contributions and support of Scout Troop 899 and restocking the kitchen supplies for the Parish House. We also donated barbecue for the reception following the Pat Springer memorial service and appointed a liaison between the Brotherhood and Pohick’s EYC to continue to strengthen that relationship.
