Linda oversees all church choirs and ensembles and serves as an organist at all worship services; she is the director of the Choir of Pohick, the Pohick Bell Choir and the St. Cecelia St. Alban Choir.
She holds degrees with honors from Gettysburg College and Union Theological Seminary School of Sacred Music, and served as director of music and organ recitalist in churches in Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania before coming to Pohick.
She is a composer; her music is published in The Hymnal 1982, Voices Found, the hymnals of the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church in Canada, and A New Hymnal for Colleges and Schools.
Linda is a member of the Association of Anglican Musicians and of the American Guild of Organists, where she helped to study and improve working conditions for church organists.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family, including husband John and son Ben, and with friends; take walks, read, work crossword puzzles, and attend the opera and concerts.
