Daniel will be leading a team of youth and adults to Concepcio n Del Sur\, Honduras on a medical and construction mission. We will be wor king with Friends of Honduras USA\, a non-profit organization established for the purposes of providing advocacy for the victims of poverty and abus e in Honduras\, promoting democracy\, and facilitating trustworthy communi cation. The mission team will be providing much needed medical care for th e residents of Concepcion Del Sur and assisting with the ongoing construct ion of a medical facility in the community. Team members will also travel to remote locations in the Honduran mountains to distribute medical suppli es\, food\, and other necessities. No prior medical\, construction\, or mi ssions experience is necessary. \nThe Robert and Bernice Kilmarx &\; An ne Powell Scholarshipis now open to graduating high school seniors of 2026 . The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist the youth of Pohick Church by providing financial assistance for our college students\, encouraging the parish to continue to provide prayer and emotional suppor t\, and raising awareness of parish youth in post-secondary education.
