 of St Andrew plans to conduct a Memorial Day 2026 observance\, Sunday 24 M

 nd to remember and honor our Veterans killed in combat or who died because
  of combat injuries.\nTo provide a visible sign that our congregation hono
 rs our fallen Veterans\, the Brotherhood will make available enamel poppy

 n \nSPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS\n\n2026 Honduras Mission Trip: July 25- Aug
 ust 1: Rev. Daniel will be leading a team of youth and adults to Concepcio
 n Del Sur\, Honduras on a medical and construction mission. We will be wor
 king with Friends of Honduras USA\, a non-profit organization established 
 for the purposes of providing advocacy for the victims of poverty and abus
 e in Honduras\, promoting democracy\, and facilitating trustworthy communi
 cation. The mission team will be providing much needed medical care for th
 e residents of Concepcion Del Sur and assisting with the ongoing construct
 ion of a medical facility in the community. Team members will also travel 
 to remote locations in the Honduran mountains to distribute medical suppli
 es\, food\, and other necessities. No prior medical\, construction\, or mi
 ssions experience is necessary. \nThe Robert and Bernice Kilmarx &amp\; An
 ne Powell Scholarshipis now open to graduating high school seniors of 2026
 . The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist the youth of 
 Pohick Church by providing financial assistance for our college students\,
  encouraging the parish to continue to provide prayer and emotional suppor
 t\, and raising awareness of parish youth in post-secondary education. App
 lications are in the Parish Office and also can be obtained by emailing Re

 ters of reference to the church office - in attention to The Scholarship C
 ommittee by May 31. Awards will be given on Youth Sunday\, June 7. We look
