 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS \n\nThe Ann Mason Guild is collecting your jewelry
  donations until Sept 30.  Your donations will be resold at our Christmas
  Sale to support our various projects at Pohick and in the community.  Pl

 n \n\nThe KiKi Coderre Prayer Group is taking a break during August and 
 will not meet again until September 7\,when we will return to our usual ga
 therings on the first and third Mondays each month. The group is open to a
 ll. Please join us as we pray for those in our parish\, our communities\, 
 and the world.\n\n \n\nAfghan Ministry Update:\nThank You to those who co
 ntinue to donate to the Afghan Ministry with their time\, talent or treasu
 re. A donation\, in April\, of $200 was used for purchasing the families a
  vacuum.  \nAdditionally\, towards the end of May we gave them $200 for 
 groceries as they were trying to reapply for SNAP benefits\, which happens
  every six months. \nWe have continued to purchase paper towels\, toilet 
 paper\, dish liquid\, laundry detergent\, and wipes when they reach out to
  us. The most recent was this past week\, the total cost was approximately
  $55. They do appreciate all we do. \nParishioners may donate through my
 Eoffering\, or with checks or cash\, making sure you designate the donatio

 air\, we're seeking volunteers to help make this milestone event our best 
 yet.\nThis year's Fair will feature the Virginia 250 Mobile Museum and is 
 expected to draw one of our largest crowds yet\, making your help more imp
 ortant than ever.\nVolunteer opportunities are available for children's ga
 mes\, Country Store\, baked goods\, Funnel Cakes\, parking\, setup and bre
 akdown\, cashiers\, ticket sales\, pony rides\, car show\, hospitality\, d
 ocent tours\, security and safety\, visitor assistance\, and general float
 ers.\nWhether you can serve for a couple of hours or all day\, your time a
 nd talents will help welcome visitors from across Northern Virginia.\nInte

  of the Fair. Additionally\, tickets will be sold in advance on Sunday\, 
 September 20th and September 27th\, during Coffee Hour and in the parish

  sold with a premium: $20 = 25 tickets.  All purchases can be made with c

 , confidential space that connects you with others who understand the rang
 e of emotions that you may experience as you process and integrate your lo
 ss and grief into day-to-day living.\nMarleen McCabe is Healing Hearts f
 acilitator. She is a member of the Trauma Incident Reduction Association a
 nd has received extensive training in the transformative power of grief\,
