Today’s service could not be live streamed due to internet difficulties. A recording of the service will be posted as soon as possible.
Good Friday Service will be held inside the church (75 people maximum) at 12:00 pm and streamed live from the Pohick Facebook page on Friday, April 2.
In-Person Worship Process
- Before Attending: Sign-up for the in-person service (click for details). Only 75 people are allowed to attend each indoor service. This service will also be streamed live from the Pohick Facebook page.
- Upon arrival: Proceed to the check-in table so temperature can be taken.
- What to bring: masks for your group. You do not need to bring a prayer book – the Order of Service will be provided.
- Service will be held inside. We are abiding by the Diocesan Guidelines for Re-Gathering, which state that Indoor Worship is limited to 75 with no age restrictions. Please prayerfully discern your own risk as you decide.
Traditional Stations of the Cross have been recorded and posted on the Pohick Church Facebook page. You can also contemplate Pohick’s new Stations of the Cross anytime, on your own. We have positioned 14 wooden stations around the Dogwood Chapel just past the lower parking lot, so you may walk the way of the cross on your own. Pick up a Stations booklet in front of the Parish House or on the Dogwood Chapel altar.
Contemporary Stations of the Cross, created by Seminarian Adam Lees, will be emailed to you for contemplation at home this week. You can also view by clicking link below.
You can also watch the service from our Pohick Church Facebook page. You do not have to have a Facebook account.
