ECW Fall Meeting and UTO Gathering

Thursday, October 15 • 9:00 am – 12:00 noon

“Lord, Make Us Servants of Your Peace”

The Episcopal Church Women have met for many years to “Serve with Joy,” but this is the first year that we will meet virtually in the time of a health pandemic, wide-spread social upheaval, and economic hardship. It is for these reasons that we need to come together to support love, faith, hope, and joy!

In a short business segment, we will elect new officers, hear about the Triangle of Hope Reflections Project, the United Thank Offering, and ECW Scholarships. In addition to the guest speakers, Bishop Susan Goff will announce the next ECW president. The Bishop and the Very Rev. Kim Coleman, ECW chaplain, will lead us in spiritual meditation.

There is no charge to attend the meeting . However, there is a suggested contribution of $35.00 which will be divided to support the ECW Communion Alms (Scholarships), Viva Voce (Triangle of Hope Project) and GraceInside ministry. By registering and providing your email address, you will receive the Zoom Webinar link needed to participate in the meeting. The deadline to register for the meeting is Thursday, October 8. We look forward to having you with us as we continue to offer our gifts of service to God, for God’s use in this troubled world.

Presenters: The Rev. J. Randy Myers, President GraceInside, the Chaplain Service to Virginia State Prisons and Ms. Ajashu Thomas and Captain Harry R. Salinas from the Office of Human Rights and Equity Programs in Fairfax County Government
