Commemoration of the Adoption of the Fairfax Resolves

The Fairfax Resolves Chapter of the Virginia Sons of the American Revolution will hold its annual commemoration of the adoption of the Fairfax Resolves on Saturday, July 23 at 11 a.m. at the historic Pohick Church, 9301 Richmond Hwy, Lorton, Virginia. The event will include ‘1^st hand accounts’ by reenactors portraying George Washington, George Mason and Rev Lee Massey, all signors of the Fairfax Resolves. Following the ceremony, the chapter will dedicate memorials to several signers of the Fairfax Resolves on the church grounds. The event is open to the public.
