OUR CHANCE TO HELP THOSE IN NEED

Dear Pohickians,

“Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” (Matthew 25:34-35) 

In every generation, God’s people are given opportunities to serve Christ in others. Today, we are called to welcome and assist the refugees of Afghanistan, and to assist the victims of Hurricane Ida and other catastrophic storms. 

Below are several suggestions for assisting Afghan refugees. I will be receiving updates for ways we may serve as a church. Please call the office if you wish to volunteer as part of a group from Pohick. You might also wish to assist financially, as individuals. Please pray about these opportunities:
